Jet Lag...
Dane and I woke up at 5:30 because we couldn't sleep any longer. We had breakfast and then went back to sleep for another 2 hours. When we finally woke up for the day we went into town so that Dane and I could get some money out of the ATM and then we had some lunch. It was delicious!
After lunch we went to Hessenpark. It's a park that has been set up to look like an old German town. It had lots of little shops and museums. It was fun. A lot of the shops were closed so we just window shopped.
One of the very first shops that we went to was a brush shop. It was very cool.
They had every kind of brush you could possibly imagine.
We took the opportunity to do a photo shoot with Dane and a duster.
This was a creepy wig shop that they had there. Very interesting!
A hat we thought Dane should buy... he didn't agree.
Later that night we went with the entire family to get Gelato and walk up to the castle in Konigstein to see when it was open so we could go up and take family pictures. We stopped at a little park to eat our Gelato before walking up to the castle. It was quite entertaining. Swede, Anders, and Dane decided that they would try to hurdle a bush, they were all successful.
Swede
Anders.. not so much a hurdle.
Dane
Dane also decided to climb on the kiddie rock wall.
The walk up the the castle was beautiful. Lots of beautiful buildings, flowers, and fountains.
Dane and I are so lucky!!
ahhh I LOVE the posts!
